Step 1 - Make Up Removal
If you wearing make up, you better remove it before go to bed. Make up removal that contains oil its best option, like Maybelline Makeup removal, since I have been using it since I was in college, just removes my makeup so quickly and easy, time saver!
Take a soft cotton pad, and add few drop on it, gently remove your makeup with cirular motion throughout your face, do itgently especially when removing eye make up.
Step 2 - Cleanser
Clean your skin before and after makeup at least twice a day.
Use a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt, oil, and impurities from your skin. This ensures a clean base for makeup application.
Consider a hydrating cleanser if you have dry skin or a foaming one if you have oily skin.
Step 3 - Tone
Apply a toner to balance your skin's pH levels and tighten pores. This helps in creating a smoother canvas for makeup. Opt for an alcohol-free toner to avoid drying out your skin.
Step 4 - Moisturize
Use a lightweight moisturizer to hydrate your skin without making it greasy. This helps the makeup to apply smoothly and last longer.
If you have oily skin, choose a gel-based moisturizer; for dry skin, go for a richer cream.
Step 5 - Primer (Optional but Recommended)
Apply a primer to create an even surface for makeup application and to help it last longer.
Choose a primer suited to your skin type (e.g., mattifying for oily skin, hydrating for dry skin).
Step 1 - Cleanse!
Use a makeup remover or micellar water to gently remove all traces of makeup. Follow with a cleanser to ensure your skin is completely clean.
Double cleansing can be effective: start with an oil-based cleanser to dissolve makeup, followed by a water-based cleanser.
Step 2 - Toner
Apply toner to remove any leftover residue from cleansing and to soothe the skin.
Choose a toner with calming ingredients like chamomile or aloe vera to help reduce any irritation from makeup removal.
Step 3 - Moisturize
Rehydrate your skin with a nourishing moisturizer to restore moisture lost during the cleansing process.
Consider using a night cream if you’re doing this routine before bed for added hydration and repair.
Step 4 - Optional Treatments
Apply any serums or treatments as needed, such as an eye cream, anti-aging serum, or acne treatment.
This step can be customized based on your skin's needs and concerns.
